Circle of Friends is a social skills/speech/friendship group in which general education students meet with students who have special needs to socialize and develop conversational skills. General education students commit to one lunch a week with their friend and one phone call the night before.

General Education Students pick their friend up from his/her classroom and take them somewhere on campus to eat lunch and talk. When you pick your friend up, sign your name on the paper located near the door, so Circle of Friends officers know your friend has been picked up.

The purpose of "Circle of Freinds" is to establish an environment of inclusion for young adults. In Circle of  Friends, students with disabilities are supported groups of peers who are socially competent, offering many opportunities to form genuine freiendships that can last a lifetime. Circle of Friends builds an inclusive campus climate that welcomes and values all students.

Circle of Friends is the largest club on campus with over 400 general education students and 60 special education friends.

Circle of Friends has many yearly activities. Last years included Cookie Decorating Party, CPK Fundraiser, Souplantation Fundraiser, Cards for Patients, Doughnut Party, Smoothie Picnic, Movie Party and the end of the Banquet.
